It's No Joke Sires First Winner

Grade II winner It's No Joke came through with his first winner as a sire when his son Playing a Joke scored July 3 at Arlington Park. Making his first start, Playing a Joke won the 4 1/2-furlong race by 1 3/4 lengths in :54.63 for owner Frank C. Calabrese.

Serendipity Farm is the breeder of Kentucky-bred Playing a Joke, who is the fourth winner from the stakes-winning Play Fellow mare Jenny’s Playmate.

It’s No Joke (Distorted Humor  —It’s Personal, by Personal Flag) stands for $2,500 at Stonewall Farm Ocala near Ocala, Fla.
