Portland Meadows to Race 75 Days

The Oregon Racing Commission has approved Portland Meadows’ application for licensure for the track’s 2010-2011 racing season.

Portland Meadows will race 75 days starting Oct. 4. The racing schedule will consist of live racing every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday with first post at 12:40 p.m PST. Live racing will be conducted every week until closing day March 30, 2011.

Portland Meadows will have 10 races on both Mondays and Tuesdays and up to nine races on the Wednesday cards. The stakes schedule will be completed in the coming weeks, along with the exact date for the track’s signature race, the Portland Mile.
