Champion Housebuster, who spent the last several years at stud in Japan, will stand the 2002 season at the Grayson family's Blue Ridge Farm near Upperville, Va. The 14-year-old stallion will stand on behalf of a syndicate managed by Donna Hayes' Virginia-based The Stallion Co. for a fee of $7,500 live foal. The Stallion Co. privately acquired Housebuster in August from Japanese breeders. He is expected to arrive Sept. 24.
Housebuster (Mt. Livermore--Big Dreams, by Great Above) has sired 24 stakes winners.
