Sharp Humor Sires First Winner

Grade II winner Sharp Humor was represented by his first winner when his son Benedetti won at Camarero Race Track in Puerto Rico June 9 in his first start. Campaigned by Establo Conderama, Benedetti won the five-furlong race by 6 3/4 lengths in 1:01.99.

Bridlewood Farm is the breeder of Florida-bred Benedetti, who is one of three winners from the winning Jolie's Halo mare Run Like Martha.

Sharp Humor’s first stateside winner came June 17 when Unleash the Humor won at Penn National in her first start. Owned by Premier Stables Unlimited, Unleash the Humor scored by a half-length in :52.86 in the 4 1/2-furlong race (VIDEO).

Three Lyons Racing is the breeder of Kentucky-bred Unleash the Humor, who is the second winner from two foals of racing age out of the Regal Classic mare The Classicshopper.

On June 18 at Royal Ascot, Sharp Humor's daughter Tiz My Time ran third in the Albany Stakes (Eng-III). She is owned by M E B Stable.
