Bandini's First Winner Scores at Belmont

Let's Get Fiscal turned her debut into a 5 1/2-length romp at Belmont Park June 17 (VIDEO) to become the first winner for grade I winner Bandini. The filly, owned by Klaravich Stables and W.H. Lawrence, pressed the pace before taking charge and winning in a quick :57.79 for five furlongs as the 9-5 favorite.

Norman G. Houston III is the breeder of Florida-bred Let’s Get Fiscal, a $130,000 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. February sale 2-year-old who is the first foal from the winning Touch Gold   mare Bouvet.

Winner of the 2005 Toyota Blue Grass Stakes (gr. I), Bandini (Fusaichi Pegasus  —Divine Dixie, by Dixieland Band) stands for $6,500 at John T.L. Jones III’s Walmac Farm near Lexington.
