Steeplechase Races at Arlington Cancelled

The two Steeplechase races, including the St. James Cup scheduled to be run at Arlington Park on Sunday, Sept. 9 have been cancelled due to a lack of entries.
"Arlington Park scheduled these races because they provide our fans with a different and an entertaining kind of racing experience," said Arlington Park president and CEO Steve Sexton. "We depend on the National Steeplechase Association to provide us with the necessary horses but unfortunately they were not able to generate enough entries to run the races."
