Woodbine Winner for Line of Departure

Line of Departure, by A.P. Indy, came through with his first winner when his son Molinaro Handsome scored by 5 3/4 lengths at Woodbine second time out June 13 (VIDEO). A homebred for Molinaro Stables, Molinaro Handsome won the 4 1/2-furlong race in :52.11.

An Ontario-bred, Molinaro Handsome is the first winner from the winning Banker's Gold mare Promise the Banker, who is a half-sister to Canadian champion Small Promises.

Line of Departure, out of the Mr. Prospector mare Ballerina Princess, stood at Molinaro Stables near Acton, Ontario, prior to his death in 2009.
