Royal Ascot to Debut on HRTV in June

This Saturday, June 5, HRTV will present live coverage of the Investec Derby (Eng-I), from Epsom Racecourse in the United Kingdom.

Coverage of the Derby will be in intervals during the network’s day-long reports from the $1 million Belmont Stakes (gr. I, airing at 10:30am ET) from Belmont Park.

HRTV plans to further its scope of showcasing international races in weeks ahead, beginning with the network's first live coverage of the Royal Ascot meeting in mid-June.

The Investec Derby is one of Thoroughbred racing's most prestigious events at 1 1/2 miles on turf and offers a rich history that began in 1780.

The network’s continued commitment to top international racing coverage will kick off June 4 at 10:30 a.m. ET. This coverage will be during Epsom’s annual two-day Derby Festival dubbed “Ladies Day,” featuring two group I races, the Investec Oaks and the Coronation Cup.
