Six-year-old Spin Master, a stakes winner and graded stakes-placed, has been sold for stallion duty to Hamide Stud, which is located near Lima, Peru.

A $500,000 Fasig-Tipton Florida sale 2-year-old purchased by Eldon Farm Equine in 2006, Spin Master won the next year's Matt Winn Stakes in stakes-record time of 1:08.30 for six furlongs at Churchill Downs and ran second in that year’s Jersey Shore Breeders’ Cup Stakes (gr. III). He retired with five wins and earnings of $229,105.

By Distorted Humor  , Spin Master is out of the Seattle Slew mare S. S. Miracle. His second dam is grade I winner Header Card.

The deal to send Spin Master to Peru was brokered by Stanley D. Petter Jr., Equine Consulting SAC, and Orbit Bloodstock.
