The first starter by grade I winner Bellamy Road   scored May 19 at Hollywood Park. Bella Palooza, a filly, won the 4 1/2-furlong race by 1 3/4 lengths in :52.39 as the odds-on choice for Suarez Racing (VIDEO).

Secret Whispers Partnership is the breeder of Kentucky-bred Bella Palooza, who is out of the stakes-placed Cat Thief mare Steal the Show.

Bellamy Road (Concerto--Hurry Home Hillary, by Deputed Testamony) won the 2005 Wood Memorial Stakes (gr. I) by 17 1/2 lengths and recorded a 120 Beyer Speed Figure. He stands for $10,000 at Ben P. Walden Jr.’s Pauls Mill near Versailles, Ky.
