Prizes Announced for June 3 Belmont Bash

VIP packages to the 2010 Belmont Stakes (gr. I) and Breeders’ Cup World Championships, as well a vacation in Isle of Palms, S.C., will be among the featured auction items when the New York Racing Association and The Jockey Club host the “Belmont Bash” June 3 at the Garden City Hotel in Garden City, N.Y.

The Bash will feature cocktails, dinner, a live and silent auction, and musical entertainment by the Alex Donner Orchestra. Among the featured auction items are a Belmont Stakes VIP package for four; a Breeders’ Cup VIP hospitality package for four; a vacation in a home at Wild Dunes Resort in Isle of Palms; a Glorious Food catered affair for 24 guests in your home; and a Putnam Market wine tasting with oenophile William Roach.

Tickets are $300 per person. Proceeds will benefit the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation and the Backstretch Employee Services Team.
