Stakes winner Daddy Warbucks has been retired from racing to stand this breeding season at Hourigan Horse Farm near Anthony, N.M. He will stand for William H. Bright for a private fee.

A 6-year-old son of Valid Expectations, Daddy Warbucks captured three stakes, including the $125,000 My Dandy Texas Stallion Stakes, and placed in four others. He finished first or second in nine of 23 races and earned $235,524.

Daddy Warbucks is out of the stakes-winning Geiger Counter mare Countess Delainea.
