Formal Gold to Esquirol Farms in Canada

Formal Gold, who was among the leading California sires in 2005, has been relocated to Pierre Esquirol’s Esquirol Farms in Alberta, Canada.

A grade I winner of over $1.5 million, Formal Gold previously stood at Rancho San Miguel in San Miguel, California. He is the sire of such graded winners as Adore the Gold (gr. II), Trickle of Gold, Semaphore Man, Miss Matched, and Transduction Gold (all gr. III).

Formal Gold, a son of Black Tie AffairIngoldsby, by Screen King, will stand the remainder of the 2010 breeding season for $2,500 Canadian funds.
