TOBA to Conduct New Owner Seminar April 29

The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced April 21 that it will conduct a New Owner Seminar on April 29 at the Kentucky Derby Museum in Louisville, Ky.

The seminar, sponsored by Blood-Horse Publications, will feature discussions on industry business issues, options for acquiring horses, including partnerships, auctions, and claiming as well as a discussion about veterinary topics. Speakers will include Barclay Tagg, Roy and Gretchen Jackson, Mike Maker, Peter Bradley, and John Gasper.

The seminar will begin at 8 a.m., and will include breakfast and lunch sponsored by Coolmore America, and an afternoon of racing at Churchill Downs.

The registration fee for the New Owner Seminar is $75 for TOBA members, and $100 for non-members. The fee includes all support materials, admission to the track, and meals.
