Primal Storm’s first winner, the filly Lady Primal, became the stallion’s initial stakes winner. Lady Primal captured the April 18 Manor Downs Thoroughbred Futurity by 5 3/4 lengths in :53.52 for the 4 1/2 furlongs.

Keith Asmussen is the breeder of Lady Primal, and his son, Cash, is the trainer. Lady Primal races for Markpoint Stable.

Lady Primal, now two for two, is out of the Seneca Jones mare Lady Seneca.

Primal Storm (Storm Boot—Primistal, by Stalwart) stands at the elder Asmussen’s Asmussen Horse Center near Laredo, Texas. His fee is $1,500.
