Blind Luck, a leading contender for the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) April 30 at Churchill Downs, worked a sharp five furlongs on Santa Anita’s main track in :59.80 with jockey Rafael Bejarano aboard April 17.

Originally, she was scheduled to work on the training track.

“It was a real good work,” trainer Jerry Hollendorfer said. “I told him to go between :59 and a minute, and he went :59 4/5."

Hollendor responded, "I don’t really have a good reason” when asked why the drill was switched from the training track. “I just did that. She’ll leave for Kentucky a week from today. She’ll probably work Friday (April 23) at Hollywood (Park) and then go.”

Blind Luck, a multiple grade I winner by Pollard's Vision   out of the Best of Luck mare Lucky One, was an authoritative winner of Oaklawn Park's Fantasy Stakes (gr. II) in her last start April 2.
