Charles E. Fipke’s Seeking the Title, who is being pointed toward the Kentucky Oaks (gr. I) despite being far down on the list of horses trying to get into the race, worked four furlongs in :50.20 at Churchill Downs on April 16.

The daughter of Seeking the Gold trained by Dallas Stewart covered the distance over a fast track in :50.20.

"She worked good and came back good," said Stewart of the filly who worked under exercise rider Pedro Velez. "We didn’t want to go too fast – just a medium work. She’s a very explosive-type filly through the stretch, so we’re just hoping we get to run."

With only $21,000 in graded earnings, Seeking the Title was tied for 21st on this weeks list of fillies being pointed toward the Oaks, which is limited to 14 starters with preference to 3-year-old fillies with the highest total earnings in graded stakes races.
