The Kentucky Derby Museum at Churchill Downs will re-open April 18 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring Hall of Fame trainers D. Wayne Lukas, Bob Baffert, and Nick Zito.

The three trainers will take the stage to say a few words prior to the ribbon cutting, which will be followed by a two hour public festival from noon-2 p.m.

The museum re-opens following the ribbon cutting ceremony. The museum was closed after severe rains caused damage to the facility last August.
