Alphabet Soup's First Winner

Millionaire Alphabet Soup's first winner came out Aug. 26 when Mister Alphabet won at about 7 1/2 furlongs at Dax in France. It was the second start for the 2-year-old colt.

Alphabet Soup, whose big win came over Cigar in the 1996 Breeders' Cup Classic (gr. I), stands at Frank Stronach's Adena Springs Kentucky near Versailles. By Cozzene out of the Arts and Letters mare Illiterate, Alphabet Soup is owned by Adena Springs and Georgia Ridder.
