Barry Irwin’s Team Valor International and Dave Munro’s Highfield Stock Farm have privately purchased the 3-year-old filly Chantilly Nayla, who will be trained by Wayne Catalano.
A daughter of Five Star Day , Chantilly Nayla has won four of seven starts, including the Mardi Gras Stakes at Fair Grounds. Among her two runner-up efforts was a second to Fanny Freud in the recent Beaumont Stakes (gr. II) at Keeneland.
"She has won on dirt, turf and Polytrack," Irwin said in a statement. "She has won routing and sprinting. Notmany young horses can boast a resume like that."
Irwin said 50% of the filly will be offered for syndication.
