Stakes Producer Forgotten Secret Dies

Forgotten Secret, dam of filly stakes winners Hot Storm and Unforgotten, died April 12 at Sierra Farm near Lexington. The 17-year-old mare, who had undergone surgery after delivering a Tale of the Cat filly March 2, was founded dead in her paddock.

Robert and Sheilah Adams are the breeders of the newborn, who has been placed on a nurse mare.

Forgotten Secret (Secret Slew--Won’t Forget Me, by With Caution) won five of 32 races and was stakes-placed. Hot Storm (by Stormy Atlantic  ) earned $840,647, and Unforgotten (by Northern Afleet  ) has earned $568,563).
