Deputy Storm's First Winner Sets NTR

Deputy Storm  ’s first winner, Twelve Pack Shelly, set a track record in a 10 3/4-length score in the first 2-year-old race at Laurel this year (VIDEO). Making her initial start April 8, the filly ran the 4 1/2 furlongs in :50.83, bettering the track record by more than a second. Finishing third, a neck behind the runner-up, was Deputy Storm’s daughter Dylan the Deputy.

Twelve Pack Shelly is owned by trainer John E. Salzman Jr., Danny Divver, and George Greenwalt. Sycamore Hall Farm is the breeder of the Pennsylvania-bred filly. Twelve Pack Shelly is the third foal out of the Two Punch mare So Smashing.

A two-time stakes winner, Deputy Storm (Forestry  —Deputy Jane West, by Silver Deputy) stands for $2,000 at Richard Golden and Dr. Tom Bowman’s Northview Stallion Station near Chesapeake City, Md.
