Giacomo  , the 2005 Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner, came through with his first winner when his daughter Blushing Sis won by eight lengths April 3 at Manor Downs. Racing for Markpoint Stable, Blushing Sis won the 4 1/2-furlong race in :52.88.

Jeanne Stasny Blossom Racing Stable is the breeder of Blushing Sis. The Texas-bred filly is the first foal out of the Carson City mare Three City Sisters.

Giacomo (Holy Bull—Set Them Free, by Stop the Music)  stands for $5,000 at Frank Stronach’s Adena Springs near Paris, Ky.
