Robert "Country" and Bea Roberts' Post Time Training Center in Ocala, Fla., was auctioned at a foreclosure sale the morning of Aug. 24 and is now owned by Community Bank of Marion County.

Post Time Training Center had been on the market for some time. In April 2000, Country Roberts said the facility would be sold so he could meet financial obligations.

The court entered its final judgment of foreclosure against Post Time Training Center July 27. The Community Bank of Marion County was the plaintiff in a suit against the Florida corporation.

The property was sold in two major parcels. The first piece, at 231 acres, brought a high bid of $2.925 million. The second tract of land, at 130 acres, brought a high bid of $1.2 million. Farm equipment also was auctioned off and brought a high bid of $325,000.

Community Bank of Marion County was identified as the high bidder for all 361 acres and the equipment. The property includes 23 barns, 16 dwellings, and a three-quarter-mile lighted training track.
