Pre-entry books for Maryland Million Day are now available. Horses for the 12-race program set for Oct. 13 at Pimlico Race Course must be pre-entered by Oct. 3. For more information, call the Maryland Million office at 410-252-2100, or the Pimlico racing office at 410-542-9400...The National Thoroughbred Racing Association, Breeders' Cup, and Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association will offer a special pick four wager to celebrate America's Day at the Races on Labor Day. The $1 bet, to be hubbed through Arlington Park, will include the Sea O' Erin Breeders' Cup Mile at Arlington, the Miller Genuine Draft Cradle Stakes at River Downs, the Diana Handicap at Saratoga, and the Miami Mile Breeders' Cup Handicap from Calder Race Course. Takeout on the wager is 20%. Post for the first race in the series is 5:05 p.m. (EDT).
