The Robby Albarado Foundation will host its third annual fundraising cocktail party and auction April 25 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Mellwood Arts Center in Louisville. Named the “Ils Sont Partis Sioree” (And They’re Off Party), the Foundation’s party will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kentuckiana.
“It’s unbelieveable how much the Foundation has grown and continues to grow,” said jockey Albarado, for whom the Foundation is named, in a statement. “Plus, it’s great to partner with such an outstanding organization as Big Brothers Big Sisters since we both strive to positively change young lives.”
The Soiree will feature several silent and live auction items, including Kentucky
Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I) and Breeders’ Cup tickets, a weekend trip for two to New York, and a four-day cruise on a private yacht in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Several local celebrities are expected to attend as well. Tickets for the party are $50 and can be purchased through the Foundation’s website (www.robbyalbaradofoundation.org), or at the door on the night of the event.
The Soiree has attracted Nashville recording artists, Savannah Jack, to entertain the crowd throughout the evening. Guests will be treated to a variety of drink options from Brown Forman, the Soiree’s title sponsor, and select Cajun-flared food is being provided by Café Lou Lou’s. Local television personality, Kevin Harned of Wave 3, will serve as auctioneer at the event.
