Grade II winner Seattle Fitz has been purchased by Juan Carlos Bago’s Haras Firmamento from Central Kentucky horseman Douglas Arnold for stallion duty in Argentina. Seattle Fitz, who was bred in Argentina by Firmamento, will stand the remainder of the Northern Hemisphere breeding season at Arnold’s Buck Pond near Versailles, Ky. His fee is $5,000.

Seattle Fitz is the sire of stakes winners Holly’s Way and Fitz Just Right, each of whom won a $100,000 stakes in 2009.  Fitz Just Right also was graded stakes-placed. Seattle Fitz’ other runners include 2010 stakes-placed Pyrite on My Mind.

Foaled in 1999, Seattle Fitz (Fitzcarraldo--Hug a Slew, by Seattle Slew) won three graded stakes in 2004 and finished second to Medaglia d’Oro in that year’s Donn Handicap (gr. I). He earned a career total of $594,371.
