OBS Makes March Sale Time Changes

The starting time for both sessions of the under tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. March select sale of 2-year-olds in training has been changed to 8 a.m. The sessions are scheduled for March 13 and 14.

In another change for the Central Florida auction, the sale’s first session, March 16, will begin at 2 p.m.

According to OBS officials, the changes will allow buyers more time to inspect horses after each under tack show session and before the first horse goes in the sale ring March 16.

The auction’s March 17 session remains scheduled for 11 a.m.

All times are EDT except for March 13, which is on an EST schedule because it precedes the change to Daylight Saving Time.

The under tack shows had been scheduled for March 11 and 12, but there was heavy rain and lightning the morning of March 11 in Central Florida and more wet weather was predicted for the following day.
