First Winner by Weeping Willow

Weeping Willow was represented by his first winner when his 2-year-old son Aly Weeping led all the way to win by 1 1/4 lengths March 9 at Sunland Park in his first start. A homebred for trainer Hermenegildo G. Aldavaz, the colt ran the 4 1/2 furlongs in :53.55.

Out of the Western Fame mare Elusive Abyssinia, Aly Weeping is a half-brother to stakes winner Waymore’s Blues.
