Aqueduct Racetrack, which had already canceled live racing for Friday, Feb. 26, has also canceled the Saturday, Feb. 27 card, citing snow and wind from a major winter storm that has blasted the Northeast.

The Stymie, the Feb. 27 feature, will be rescheduled for Sunday, March 7.

While Aqueduct will be completely closed Feb. 26, the track will be open for simulcasting Feb. 27.

Also, the New York Racing Association’s racing office will be closed Feb. 26 but is scheduled to re-open Feb. 27. At that time, double entries will be taken from the Wednesday andThursday cards of March 3-4.

Meanwhile, Meadowlands Racetrack in New Jersey has canceled live racing and simulcasting for Friday, Feb. 26. The off-track wagering facility at Woodbridge and Monmouth Park Racetrack are also closed. Racing at Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course has also been called off for Friday evening.

Also, citing high winds, Laurel Park in Maryland canceled Friday racing, with both Laurel and Pimlico open for simulcasting. The cancelation was the seventh this year at the track.
