Retama Park in Selma, Texas, has registered a 20.5% gain in total handle through the first 11 days of its Thoroughbred meet. Total handle on the live product has averaged $1,122,704, up from $892,691 for the same period last year. On-track attendance is up 0.7%, and on-track handle is up 0.8% when compared with last year's numbers. For the first time, purses average more than $100,000 a day at Retama.
