The Indiana Horse Racing Commission and The Indiana Thoroughbred Breed Development Program have announced the leading Indiana-sired and -bred performers for the year 2009. Each recipient will receive a trophy at the annual awards program. The wininers are: 

Indiana Bred 2-Year-Old Colt/Gelding: Lucky Chuck (by Evansville Slew - Timely Rhythm). Owned by Spade Stable.

Indiana Sired 2-Year-Old Colt/Gelding: Lawyer Dagget (by Primordial - Sweet Dixie). Owned by Larry Smallwood and Michael K. Phillips.

Indiana Bred 2-Year-Old Filly: Running Bride (by Cherokee Run – Kazumina). Owned by Summerplace Farm.

Indiana Sired 2-Year-Old Filly: Ms. Cat Princess (by Cat Doctor – Titled Tiara). Owned by T.C. Racing Stable.

Indiana Bred 3-Year-Old Colt/Gelding: Hoosier Kingdom (by Repent   – Aunty Pansy). Owned by: Ron Herrel, Keith Wexler and Brian Reed.

Indiana Sired 3-Year-Old Colt/Gelding: Bigtoadinapuddle (by Moro Oro – Jazz Z Desire). Owned by Herb & Darlene Likens and James & Amy Elliott.
