Zavata has sired 66 winners, including Dakota Phone, who has won or placed in seven added-money races and earned $342,810. Dakota Phone ran second in this year’s San Antonio Handicap (gr. II).

Zavata’s other runners include four stakes-placed runners, including San Valentino at Belmont Park.

Ten-year-old Zavata (Phone Trick—Pert Lady, by Cox’s Ridge) won the Amsterdam (gr. II), Saratoga Special (gr. II), and Tremont (gr. III) Stakes and ran third in the Hopeful Stakes (gr. I). He stood in 2009 at Pin Oak Lane Farm in Pennsylvania for $3,500.
