Last weekend Bobby Frankel won three graded stakes races with three horses. This weekend he'll have three horses in one graded stakes race, the Del Mar Handicap (gr. IIT). Frankel is to saddle Northern Quest, Super Quercus, and Timboroa in Saturday's seventh race. Northern Quest won last year's edition of the Del Mar Handicap by 1 1/2 lengths over Perssonet.

Chris McCarron is slated to ride Northern Quest. His mount and Super Quercus are both owned by Charles Kenis and Audrey Skirball-Kenis' 3 Plus U Stable. Timboroa, who was supplemented for $2,500, is the highweight at 118. In his last race Northern Quest finished third to Blueprint and Kudos in the Sunset Handicap (gr. IIT) at Hollywood Park. Super Quercus was also third in his last start, the grade I Eddie Read Handicap. Following him across the line that day was Timboroa. The Eddie Read was run over nine furlongs.

Four other horses are entered in Saturday's $250,000 race, run over 11 furlongs on the grass. The field for the Del Mar Handicap, from the rail out, with weights and jockey assignments:
