Yes It's True Colt Among Fastest OBS Workers

A colt by Yes It's True   and fillies by Songandaprayer  and Harlan's Holiday   were among the fastest workers Feb. 12 in Central Florida for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. February select sale of 2-year-olds in training. The three juveniles set the pace at a quarter-mile, each covering the distance in :21 over the OBS oval’s synthetic Safetrack surface on a cold, rainy day.

The Yes It’s True colt, offered by W.D. North Thoroughbreds, agent, is out of the Cat Thief   mare Debit Or Credit, who is a half-sister to grade III winner Alke and two other stakes winners.

The Songandaprayer filly, consigned by King's Equine, agent, is out of the unraced Known Fact mare Rainbow Promise and is a half-sister to stakes winner Class Above. The Harlan’s Holiday filly, which is in the Ocala Stud consignment, is out of the stakes-winning American Chance mare Burn Brightly and is a half-sister to added-money winner Dream of Angels.

Four horses were the fastest at an eighth of a mile, each stopping the timer in :10. They included a Pomeroy   – Twinkle Twinkle filly consigned by Flying Fish, agent, and a Congrats   – A True Star colt named Joe Hollywood, who is consigned by Journeyman Bloodstock, agent. The others were a Speightstown   – Bluffing Girl filly, consigned by Casse Sales, agent, and a D'wildcat   – Gloomy Knot filly, consigned by Blue River Bloodstock, agent.

The auction, scheduled for Feb. 16, will begin at noon EST.
