Red Giant's First Foal a Filly

Red Giant's second foal out of the stakes-winning Stravinsky mare Brazilian.

The first reported foal by Peachtree Stable’s world-record setter Red Giant   is a filly born Jan. 30 at Clear Creek Stud near Folsom, La. Bred by Robkat Racing and Adena Springs, the filly is out of the stakes-placed Personal Flag mare Carolyn Frances, a half-sister to stakes winner Hay Cody.

On Feb. 2, Red Giant’s second foal was born at the Taylor family’s Taylor Made near Nicholasville, Ky. Bred by Peachtree, which is owned by John Fort, the newborn colt is out of the stakes-winning Stravinsky mare Brazilian, a half-sister to stakes winner Swain’s Gold.

A grade I winner, Red Giant (Giant's Causeway  —Beyond the Sun, by Kingmambo) stands a Robert N. Clay’s Three Chimneys Farm near Midway, Ky. His 2010 fee is $6,000.
