German Champion Greek Dance to Stand in Germany

German champion Greek Dance, by Sadler's Wells, has been retired and will enter stud at Gestut Gorlsdorf in Germany. Produced from group I winner Hellenic (by Darshaan), Greek Dance won four of 17 races and earned $887,705. The Irish-bred runner captured the 2000 Grosser Dallmayr-Preis (Ger-I) the year he was champion and the Petros Rose of Lancaster Stakes (Eng-III) the previous year. Greek Dance also was group I-placed in England, France, Ireland (twice), and Hong Kong.
