On the 3-year-old front, Kentucky Jockey Club (gr. II) winner Super Saver drilled a half in :48 4/5 handily; Delta Jackpot (gr. III) winner Rule worked five furlongs in 1:01 4/5 handily; Pilgrim winner Eskendereya breezed five furlongs in 1:02 2/5; Interactif, a dual stakes winner on grass, breezed five furlongs in 1:03 2/5; Iboyee breezed a half in :49, and at the other end of the spectrum, grade I-placed Discreetly Mine turned in a bullet five furlongs in :59 1/5 handily.
