WinStar to Host Derby Fantasy Game

WinStar Farm is hosting its own Kentucky Derby (gr. I) fantasy contest, with the top prize being two third-floor box seat tickets to this year’s Derby and Kentucky Oaks (gr. I).

Registration is free. Participants are required to draft 12 horses into their stables. The player whose stable accumulates the highest earnings from Feb. 13 through April 17 is the winner. The top prize also includes round-trip coach airfare, lodging for three nights, and a VIP tour of WinStar Farm near Lexington.

“We are hoping to offer fans, handicappers, and potential new owners unique access to the world of WinStar,” said Elliott Walden, vice president and racing manager of WinStar.

Second prize for the contest is two third-floor box seat tickets only to the Kentucky Derby and a tour of WinStar Farm. The third-place prize is two third-floor box seat tickets only to the Kentucky Oaks and the farm tour. Additional prizes include the right to name a WinStar horse (specific terms apply), pictures of and halters worn by Distorted Humor  , Tiznow  , and Colonel John  , and WinStar gift baskets.
