First Foal for Sightseeing is a Filly

The first foal for grade II winner Sightseeing is a filly born Jan. 21 at Jay and Jana Goodwin’s Good Win Farm in Paris, Ky.

The filly was produced from Spunky Star, an unraced daughter of Five Star Day   who is a half-sister to grade I-placed Dance for Vanny. Spunky Star is owned by James H. Glover.
 
A 6-year-old son of Pulpit   who won the grade II Peter Pan, Sightseeing entered stud in 2009 at Richland Hills Farm near Lexington, where his 2010 fee is $7,500 live foal.
