OBS Winter Mixed Sale Starts Jan. 19

The Ocala Breeders' Sales Co. winter mixed sale begins its two-day run Jan. 19. There are 496 horses cataloged for the auction, which will be held in Central Florida.

Hip Nos. 1-166 will be offered during Jan. 19’s consignor-preferred session, and  Hip Nos. 167-496  will be offered during an open session Jan. 20. Selling begins both days at 11 a.m. (EST).

The 258 yearlings cataloged include the offspring of Bluegrass Cat  , Pomeroy  , Shakespeare  , Artie Schiller  , Tapit  , Candy Ride  , Birdstone  , Speightstown  , Bernstein, Macho Uno  , Afleet Alex  , Trippi  , Wildcat Heir  , and Chapel Royal.

Mares in the sale are in foal to such sires as Cherokee Run, Songandaprayer  , Yes It's True  , Heatseeker  , Lion Heart, Midnight Lute  , Smoke Glacken  , City Zip  , Montbrook  , Milwaukee Brew, Circular Quay  , and Rockport Harbor  .
