The filly is the first foal out of Frangible, a daughter of Broken Vow  . Her second dam is the stakes-winning mare Graceful Minister. The Zanjero filly is owned by Burden Creek Farm and Clifton Farm.
Zanjero, a $700,000 yearling purchase, won the Kentucky Cup Classic (gr.II) and the Indiana Derby (gr.II). He stands at Millenium Farms in Lexington, Ky, for $10,000.
