Following is a list of horses that could bring high prices, based on their pedigrees and/or comments from horsemen, during the second session of the Keeneland’s horses of all ages sale Jan. 12 in Lexington:

Hip No. 380, Sermonette, 12yo mare, Danzig – Preach, by Mr. Prospector. Consigned by Claiborne Farm, agent. This winning bay mare is a half-sister to grade II winner and successful sire Pulpit (by A.P. Indy) and she is in foal to First Samurai  .

Hip No. 385, Sigatoka, 9yo mare, Storm Cat – Island Jamboree, by Explodent. Consigned by Warrendale Sales, agent. Produced from a stakes winner, this unraced chestnut mare is a half-sister to champion Fiji (by Rainbow Quest) and French group II winner and English group III winner Capri (by Generous). She was not bred last year. Her yearling Pulpit filly is cataloged as Hip No. 386.

Hip No. 387, Silent Moccasins, 8yo mare, A.P. Indy – Quiet Cleo, by No Louder. Consigned by Calumet Farm. This bay mare is out of a Canadian Stakes winner and is a half-sister to Canadian champion Quiet Resolve (by Affirmed). She is in foal to Candy Ride  .

Hip No. 401, yearling colt, English Channel   – South Ocean Blvd, by Capote. Consigned by Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services, agent. This chestnut colt is the first foal out of a half-sister to grade I winner Film Maker (by Dynaformer).

Hip No. 404, Spira, 4yo filly, Sadler's Wells – Spring Flight, by Miswaki. Consigned by Four Star Sales, agent. This bay was unplaced while racing in Ireland and  is in foal to Mr. Greeley. She is a half-sister to English champion Lucky Story and English group I winner Dr Fong, both by Kris S.

Hip No. 405, Spoken Fur, 10yo mare, Notebook – Siberian Fur, by Siberian Express. Consigned by Four Star Sales, agent. This gray or roan grade I winner is in foal to Ghostzapper  .

Hip No. 413, Tables Turned, 7yo mare, Petionville   – Danzigs Fashion, by A Native Danzig. Consigned by Paramount Sales. This dark bay or brown mare is a full sister to grade I winner Island Fashion and is in foal to Majestic Warrior  .

Hip No. 419, yearling colt, Van Nistelrooy – The Perfect Life, by Try My Best. Consigned by Eaton Sales, agent.  This bay yearling is out of a French group winner and full sister to French and English champion Last Tycoon, who won the Breeders’ Cup Mile (gr. IT) and became a leading sire in Australia. The colt is a half-brother to English group III winner Rabah and Irish group III producer Wadud, both by Nashwan.

Hip No. 425, yearling colt, Mr. Greeley – Torrid Affair, by Alydeed. Consigned by Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services, agent for North Wales Farm. This bay colt is out of a Canadian stakes winner and is a half-brother to Canadian grade III winner Seductively (by Thunder Gulch  ).

Hip No. 428, Tugger, 13yo mare, Twining – Pushy, by Assert. Consigned by Paramount Sales, agent. This grade III winner is in foal to Raffie’s Majesty.

Hip No. 438, Vargas Girl, Deputy Minister – Wheatly Way, by Wheatly Hall. Consigned by Mill Ridge Sales, agent. This bay mare is out of a stakes winner and is a half-sister to grade I winner Bevo (by Prospectors Gamble) and grade III winner and grade II producer Moonlight Sonata (by Carson City). She is in foal to Sky Mesa.

Hip No. 450, yearling  colt, Gone West – Wheatly Way, by Wheatly Hall. Consigned by Mill Ridge Sales, agent. This chestnut colt is out of a stakes winner and is a half-brother to grade I winner Bevo (by Prospectors Gamble) and grade III winner and grade II producer Moonlight Sonata (by Carson City).

Hip No. 454, Win for Juno, 16yo mare, St. Jovite– Special Team, by Specialmante. Consigned by Warrendale Sales, agent. Produced from a grade I winner and a half-sister to American grade II winner and French group III winner Triteamtri (by Tri Jet), this bay mare is the dam of grade II winner Sweet Win (by King of Kings). She is in foal to Cindago. Her yearling Medaglia d'Oro   colt is cataloged as Hip No. 455.

Hip No. 467, Age of Humor, 3yo filly, Distorted Humor   -- Age of Silver, by Silver Deputy. Consigned by Indian Creek, agent.

This bay filly scored by 1 1/4 lengths in the Jan. 9 Busanda Stakes at Aqueduct in New York. She is  from the family of grade I winner Wise Times and grade III winner Timely Broad.  

Hip No. 470, yearling filly, Empire Maker – Alinechka, by Danzig. Consigned by Mill Ridge Sales, agent. This bay filly’s second dam is champion Safely Kept and her unraced dam is a half-sister to stakes winners Peace Chant (by War Chant  ) and Contrast (by Unbridled).

Hip No. 471, A Little Humor, 5yo mare, Distorted Humor   – Coragil, byMetfield. Consigned by Four Star Sales, agent. This dark bay or brown mare is a half-sister to grade II winner Softly (by Binalong) and grade III winner Coragil Cat (by Forest Wildcat). She is in foal to Henrythenavigator.

This dark bay or brown filly is a half-sister to English group II winer Al Jadeed (by Coronado's Quest) and stakes winner Areek (by Deputy Minister).

Hip No. 589, yearling colt, Smart Strike   – Heavenly Ransom, by Red Ransom. Consigned by Bluegrass Thoroughbred Services, agent. This bay colt is the first foal out of a grade III winner and half-sister to two stakes winners.

Hip No. 592, Highest Approval, 3yo filly, High Fly – Win Approval, by With Approval. This unraced chestnut filly is a half-sister to champion Miesque’s Appeal (by Miesque's Son) and grade III winner Revved Up (by Sultry Song). She is cataloged as a broodmare prospect.

Hip No. 593, Highland Hope, 10yo mare, Unaccounted For – Highland Mills, by Pia Star. Consigned by Hinkle Farms, agent. This dark bay or brown mare, in foal to Any Given Saturday, is a half-sister to grade I winners Miss Josh (by Nasty and Bold) and Royal Mountain Inn (by Vigors).

Hip No. 628, Knock Twice, 11yo mare, Two Punch – Joe’s Tammie, by Zoning. Consigned by Eaton Sales, agent. This dark bay or brown stakes-winning mare, in foal to Cherokee Run, is the dam of added-money winner Silver Knockers (by Silver Deputy), who is grade I-placed.
