Finalists for the 2009 Eclipse Awards will be announced Jan. 6.
The National Thoroughbred Racing Association, National Turf Writers Association, and Daily Racing Form vote on and present the Eclipse Awards in recognition of excellence in Thoroughbred racing. Winners in all categories will be announced at the 39th annual Eclipse Awards ceremony, which is scheduled for Jan. 18 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.
