Unbeaten Buddy's Saint arrives at Gulfstream led by his trainer, Bruce Levine.

Buddy's Saint, one of the winter book favorites for the 2010 Kentucky Derby Presented by Yum! Brands (gr. I), arrived at Gulfstream Park from New York Dec. 23 to prepare for his 3-year-old campaign.

Owned by Kingfield Stables and trained by Bruce Levine, the son of Saint Liam is unbeaten in three starts. He broke his maiden Sept. 26 at Belmont Park and then won two stakes impressively at Aqueduct. On Nov. 7 Buddy’s Saint romped home by 12 lengths in the Nashua Stakes (gr. II), and then three weeks later he captured the Remsen Stakes (gr. II) by 4 3/4 lengths. He has been ridden in all three of his races by Jose Lezcano.

Bred in Kentucky by Roy Gottlieb and Morton Fink, Buddy’s Saint, out of the Blushing John mare Tusia, was consigned to the 2008 Keeneland September yearling sale by Gainesway Farm, agent. He was purchased by Eli Lomita for $100,000.
