I Want Revenge, winner of this year’s Wood Memorial (gr. I) and Gotham (gr. III) Stakes, is in light training at a farm in Kentucky, according to Daily Racing Form. The 3-year-old son of Stephen Got Even   was the morning line favorite for the May 2 Kentucky Derby Presented By Yum! Brands (gr. I), but was scratched the morning of the race because of an injured left front ankle and has been sidelined ever since.

David  Lanzman, I Want Revenge’s breeder and co-owner, told the Form that the colt was just jogging and has a long way to go before returning to the track or racing.

I Want Revenge has won three of his eight career races and has earned $816,000.
