A 7-year-old son of Diligence, Diligent Prospect set a five-furlong track record of :56.29 at Hollywood Park at 2 and won or placed in six stakes over the next three years. He captured the 2005 Foothill Stakes at Fairplex Park and the 2006 Klaq Handicap at Sunland Park and the Swift Stakes at Turf Paradise.
A winner all five years he raced, Diligent Prospect won or placed in 15 of 27 races and earned $227,174. He is out of the Farma Way mare Farma Love and is a full brother to stakes-placed Worker Man and a half-brother to stakes-placed Sonic Eagle.
Embrace the Storm, a $400,000 Barretts March sale 2-year-old, is a winning son of Storm Cat. Embrace the Storm scored at six furlongs in 1:09.23 at Sacramento.
Embrace the Storm is out of Saratoga stakes winner Country Romance (by Saint Ballado), whose grade II-winning half-sister, Katz Me If You Can, is by Storm Cat. Embrace the Storm’s second dam is grade I winner Cuddles.
