Deputy Wild Cat to Fleming Thoroughbred in AZ

Deputy Wild Cat, a half-brother to Breeders’ Cup Mile (gr. IT) winner War Chant  , has been moved to Fleming Thoroughbred Farm near Wilcox, Ariz., from Fairberry Farm near Waterloo, Ill. He is owned by Irving Cowan.

Ten-year-old Deputy Wild Cat is the sire of two stakes winners and two stakes-placed runners. Each of his added-money winners, Bim Bam and Ashley River, has a won a $100,000 stakes. Two-year-old Bim Bam has won or placed in five added-money races this year.

Deputy Wild Cat, by Deputy Minister out of champion Hollywood Wildcat (by Kris S.), is a full brother to Ministers Wild Cat  , California’s second-leading first-crop sire by progeny earnings this year. In addition to being a half-brother to successful sire War Chant, Deputy Wild Cat is a half-brother to two other stakes winners.
