A 10-year-old son of Silver Ghost, Cashel Castle is the sire of nine 2009 winners, including several multiple winners. His daughter Dashel is a winner this year at Keeneland and at Arlington Park.
Cashel Castle, whose big win came in the Lafayette Stakes (gr. III) at Keeneland, is out of the winning Unreal Zeal mare Desviacion, a half-sister to grade I winner Lunar Spook.
