Snorter to Madera Thoroughbreds

Graded takes winner Snortner will stand in 2010 at Cal Fischer’s Madera Thoroughbreds near Madera, Calif. Owned by Ross and Sheila McLeod, he will stand for $2,000. He formerly stood at Canmor Farms in British Columbia, Canada.

A 9-year-old son of Awesome Again  , Snorter won the Berkeley Breeders’ Cup Handicap (gr. III) and earned a career total of $242,593.

Snorter’s dam, Retiro Park (by Meadowlake), is a full sister to champion Meadow Star and a half-sister to graded stakes winner Optic Nerve.
